1) Bosses are AWFULLY BORING. Most aren`t a real challenge, but a patience test. Usually, they`re very easy after destroying wings/weapons, which have low life bars. Then, I just sit for a five minutes shooting against a boss that have too much HP and no bite.
2) Easy. Gone every level in hard on first, and almost everytime got 3 stars on first try.
3) Albeit having many levels, since it`s damn easy to beat, often gone 10-15 levels without opening the hangar, for not needing upgrades at all.
4) The achievments are lame. Stars and killing enemies are things people will do anyway. Bombs and hitting enemies are not "challenges".
5) Top of screen has space that enemies can be, but we can`t hit nor see, due to the pause screen over it.
6) Theintro only say how to play for mobile. Nowhere says how to use bombs and pause in keyboard.
Still, I love this game. I just fear that theese hicups means that it wasn`t as polished as the earlier games and, so, the future is doomed for the franchise.
Was opening Kongregate just for the badge of the day... saw a new notebook wars game... clicked 5/5 before completing the loading and possibly will be mailing my clients in a few minutes telling them that I`ll need an extension on my projects...
OH, a boss fight! Ah, that wasn`t so hard, he`s already... oh, no, not dead. Allright. Now he is.. still not dead. Ok, let`s shoot him more and... ( "Hey, guys, I won`t be able to go out tonight, killing this boss and stuff, later"). One more time, ok, I`ll pause for supper and... oh, wait?! He`s dead? Allright and... bonus round? Oh damn, next time I better take a shot.
This game is awesome. First, becayse I work as an accounter, but am phylosopher by grade (it's a weird history....). Second, Euthyphro's face twitching after being contested.... I would time travel only to make that happen!
The game is really nice in the beggining. Really, it's awesome. Then ye get some models and all weapons around you cost 8k XP or more, and disassembling the weapons you have in supergame gives 200 XP or less.... when logging in the game once a day gives more XP than just playing it, the game hurts. Oh, right, I can buy the game for a HUNDRED bucks! That's more than, what, Rome total war 2! IF (IF!) it was a paid game, for 10, maybe (MAYBE) a little more on a steam plataform, I would buy it. If upon completng the supergame mode on a weapon I unlocked the next one. But, on the actual system of gameplay and the heavy cost ir have, I would rather buy the goddam firearms and disassemble them at my home. It have a good concept and a good execution but, the cost is too high, and the "play-as-you-go" system is a "try not to get too bored". I would love to play it enough to unlock it all but... I got bored.
Ok. Troopers trow grenades, grenadiers have flametrowthers and every explosion generates shrapnel. Suddenly there's so much fryendly fire on screen I gave up on dodging bullets and accepted fate.
This could be... this is... just terrible.
Combining wasd movement with click to attack is bad already. Making it a button masher is worse. There´s no feeling of strategy, and the way to get the coins is... is... well.... you at least have good art.
That was awesome. I mean, you didn't add anything new but, when talking abouut the kings of the games, what there is to add? I played several beat 'em up games in kongregate, and untill now, no one got so high as this one. There are beautifull graphics, the gameplay is smooth, and the action is constant. Could be better, sure, but it's so far an awesome game.
Done in my first try. But, man, when she said he was popular, she meant it! Some simple crowd control resolves it. It's a simple, yet fullfilling game. Nice work.
The gold from buildings not being auto-collected is just... well... stupid. The controls are non-existent, and I need to keep going through the battlefield just to get my gold... really?
