The starting mana boost in the patch was the best part of it. This game is still poorly designed though. If there is a third one an you pull this in battle upgrading stuff you need to make it cost something besides mana. So boring having to build up for long just to get the fight started. The fight also doesn't start until you damage their castle like to half then it spams 100's of high end people at you. Feels very rigged an dumb.
Seriously after level 6 does it do that crap where getting the enemy castle close to death causes 50+ high end units to come at you every single time? Thus forcing you to spend 20 minutes in prep? If so this game is such shit. It's not fun sitting there watching arrows kill shit while you build up mana to send one overwhelming clump since its the only tactic that works...
I don't see why people are rating highly. The game has potential but that's all. Way too much wrong with this game to be rating high. You should rate low or no higher than 3 an give the creator some incentive to fix his mess.
Ok I had given this game a 2 waiting for the problems to be fixed. But I just had the game spawn 50 high end units at me when I had his castle down to 1000 health. If the game is that rigged obviously there is no strategy just rigged build up for 20 minutes crap. This now gets a 1.
So whats up with the Orc Totems in mission 6? They seem overpowered as hell. I tried wizards myself an they suck ass in comparison. Is there a certain Human unit that wont die in the dozens to the totems?
Game just keeps getting worse lol. Decided to play it some more today and on mission 6 the difficulty spikes up so massively its stupid. I think that's the same place it did in the first game too. Just fail.
Now if you don't decide to remove the in battle building upgrading another idea I just had is you could add a seperate gathering gold system or something. It's just everything costing mana makes the gameplay far too slow.
Wow needing to upgrade buildings during the battle is so incredibly BAD. It slows this game down to a crawl an makes it boring as ****. Remove that ASAP an make upgrading permanent. Melee units also need to move faster right now the game is about spamming archers. Any other criticism I cant give since I couldn't stomach playing past mission 4.
Oh also its retarded how you cant gather all weapons an have to avoid picking up crappier guns than the rockets which are the best. An yeah game is coded badly cause it lags up bad.
Beat it now that it has badges. Gets repetitive by level 3 but fun overall. I think Survival mode could have used med kits. I doubt I could beat the waves without at least a kit dropping each time the girl talks or something.
ROFL this has to be one of the worst balanced games ever. Had trouble until day 3 when I tried out focusing on in battle troop upgrades. It became hilarious then with me just owning the bottom of the map. Not to mention the heal all troops button is such a terribly imba concept. Imagine something like that in Starcraft.
This game has been popular for a while so its about time it has badges. But IMO it is still plagued by bad design choices like how terrible a shot your basic soldiers are. And how random plane an arty strikes just kill everyone of your guys. Poor interface as well.
