I usually beat the end boss using sky minefields..they hit weak spots on most enemies.
Also, best start out with a basic gun, and an acid cannon. One for single target damage, the other for mass swarm damage.
get only 2 spells, like fire and then nova blast, get a limit break of either fire or ice.
or
get only 2 spells, like earth and lightning spear, and get earth limit break.
Alternate approach: Zombies, mana regen, and upkeep mainly (zombies convert victims into omore zombies, so you dont have to resummon any more.. also you can go afk if you need..)
