this is a good concept, but there are some problems with progression. the main issue I have found is that once you reach a level you can't beat (I am personally stuck at level 20), the idle income is too low to give you any chance to actually level up and pass the fight. trying to build up new characters from scratch to try a different strategy also doesn't work - the income is too low for that also. you don't need to increase the income necessarily, but instead give us additional activities which produce rewards. it might be enough to add gold rewards to pvp. you could also add something like dispatch quests - things where you send characters away for a set amount of time, and then you get substantial rewards at the end. you could also give us the ability to repeat previous fights for reduced rewards.
