Why do ppl complain about units AI? If you press AUTO theyll behave the same way as in old Infectonator. The best way to play is: Turn on Auto, then split your summons in 2 groups - one you send to places with humans you want to kill and leave your units off control (theyll deal with ppl eventually). Use second group to attack buildings and heroes. Use fireballs to get the job done faster and thats enough to achieve all timelimits. Best unit combo is Zombies + Skeleton Archers. Skeleton archers should be more as zombies are pretty strong and replenish their numbers quickly via infection.
Oh. And its totally not difficult if you: played Warcraft 2 or read the Manual. Classic RTS tactic called "fork" (one main caliber unit with company of 2-3 little ones move little by little toward base of anemy, eradicating anything they meet).
In this game it looks like 1 mortar +2 blasters. Main strategy - Build collector->move mortar behind it-> move two blasters at the limit of the node reach-> and position them so new collector can be built between them. Repeat until you reach emitter. Cap it. Move to next emitter... This strategy is universal for all missions - you can walk throu whole game without any trouble by using it (dont forget to build enough energy collectors and mortars at the pools thou)//// Oh and im talking about retail (i have a copy) - ive finished it without any trouble.
zipdog: LOL. This is called "Creeper caping" and it is in actual game manual. Actually 1 blaster per source is enough.
Problem with creeper is that according to story it adapts to weapons and after some time any firepower wont be enough to hold it. It not realised ingame becouse you wont have time to wait for effect)))
I play Guilty Gear XX #Reload Online (best online fighting if you wanna know) alot and im pretty much pro with fightings, BUT. As far as saw command input here has VERY awful timing and press recognition. I mean when you want to pull out a move you HAVE to time EVERY button press AND thet thing make you stop actually fighting - you waste precious time on basic input like (Down-forward-Z), while CPU can pullout the same move without any waste of time - this game control mechanics work AGAINST player while they must work FOR player (i.e. player SHOULD NEVER have problem with CONTROL over his actions) - that is a basic principle of fighting games. So 2/5 - 1 for good concept and 1 for visuals.
On the second ran i noticed that there are giant walking robots in the background and things falling from sky are pods. Ran 4874 then smashed my head just a bit above window.
Why i dont like flash online games? Loading times. Even thou i have 15Mbit connection loading speed of THIS particular game is WAY too long. Also "Blackening" and pause in transition between screens have nothing to do with loading and yet it is long and it pisses me off.
Non-NG can win against NG ONLY if they have MUCH better playing skills. Non-NG of average skill will always lose against NG with the same skill because NG get about twice as much of attributes that matters for his class (At least he can) than non-NG.
