Pretty buggy game to have badges. Ive many times fell throu ground, character not moving for 5 sec (while mobs do move), got flash window mixing and many other strange things.
Amazingly stupid. No logic/puzzle involved - you just have to guess angles, which is sometimes impossible becouse of mouse sensivity/screen resolution and many other things that have completely nothing to do with the gameplay.
Good concept of the game fails to make up for it crappy interface (Most game i lost were becouse of game considering tile "placed" while i had no intentions to place it)
Riba1122 - you havent played rogue-like games (like original Elona) arent you? Else you would be aware of a thing called "savescumming". With that trick in mind SP trainer becomes good)))
RakaWakaNaka - its not hard at all even on hardcore. You just need to know what to do and read some guides before playing. Oh and ofcourse you have to aim and enemies weak spots or else youllbe screwd fast)))
Stupidtechy - Critical Kill is a kill by "Sense" skill. It gives you a % chance to score a one-hit-kill even if you didnt hit the weak spot. For Chickens Weak Spot is right under its head to the right of its wings. For them its better to use bowgun.
The main thing you need to survive is a rapid fire and accurate gun (MG or MP) with a Leech lvl 3 mod (generally avaliable after day 40). It will repair castle faster than enemy can damage it.
Or Gravity Gun with leech - one shot in the right direction completely repairs castle.
When you have it surviving hardcore becomes easy.
Well seeing so many people complaining about how hard this game is i consider they need a FAQ of some sort. If you wish i can write a quick starting guide and a dozen of tips a new ES player should know to succeed. But there wont be a thing you couldnt find on forums thou.
WOOT! Just survived Hardcore Ragnarok! Gravity Gun OWNS. I had 2 and shot one at the top of dragon army and second one at the bottom. Wiped them out right before they started their beam attack.
To all those having trouble surviving "day" - switch to Casual mode + Laptop difficulty Mod. Earn experience (i mean as a Player not as char). 1st thing to learn is where to shoot which mob for critical hit - you WONT survive without that knowledge after 20 day. Learn when to buy chickens, and when to reforge your gun. Pick up a henchman with an Engineer skill to boost up your mod effects, Pick up henchman with Love, Insurance, Active, Threat and Taunt skills - they will make your life a LOT EASIER.
Oh and dont forget to read the info game throws at you. It can be helpful. I mean it.
2Haki - LOL you have just switched off a "Hero mode" in town Tavern. I do that some times when i just whant to watch at my troops killing mobs))). When you have good henchmen/skill/weapon/mods combo you can do that thing every now and then (BUT FOR GODS SAKE DONT DO THAT ON BOSS DAY!!!)
