Nice game, but needs some bosses. After you've played it once or twice and figured out what works, you're pretty much done by level 18-20 and can just sit back and watch the money roll in until the end. Need something to force you to keep thinking.
Game is kind of fun, but too easy. As the Brits, throw a double palisade of greenjackets around your fort and you're done. Even on the hardest level, nobody can get close enough to even damage you. I'd like to forced to develop some more sophisticated strategies. On the other hand as the French, the cannonadors have such short range that the enemy all sits outside their range and slowly pecks them to death unless you spam the calendar button - i'm not sure if that's a bug or deliberate.
Nice looking game, but I can't really tell if there's any strategy or not. All I did was crash into stuff without having any idea what I was supposed to be doing. Is it even possible to lose?
So I'm not sure if I actually played the game or not. The first random encounter was the only battle, and the guy came back a couple of times, and I kept killing him and then the ending song played. Is that the whole thing?
By the way, for the people complaining this is slow -- I noticed it runs several times faster in firefox than the latest version of IE for some reason.
I quite liked this. The last level does get quite a bit harder, but the reactions themselves are quite well balanced - it takes some thought to pick the right attributes to get a reaction going.
Nice game, very well done. AI needs a lot of work though, or else multiplayer. I don't even really play card games, but the first deck I through together beat every challenge easily, without me ever having to really think.
Kind of fun to play, but for all the possible moves during fights there doesn't seem to be any real strategy other than keep trying until you get lucky.
