Another note with the gem waster. In addition to what kaves said about it not making better quality picks but showing the best result out of xx tries, it has the additional usefulness of saving ALL the gems used in those tries if your chance to save a gem activates. That means if you use 39 gems at once and it says 'saved the gem!', you saved all 39, meaning you technically have just that many more tries.
Love the game, and it has me comin' back for sure, but there are a few issues for it. For one, the upgrades required to actually get to the level of iron require iron to get to. Second of all, even with your adjustments, viscera is hellishly short in supply, and it's sad when you consider -dynamite- appropriately less valuable. It's also really hard to get the right reactor required for some of the tier 3 and 4 upgrades-- I've tried I'm not sure how many combinations and still haven't gotten them, likely due to short supply of stuff that takes going further than you should be able to without said upgrades. Other than that, quite fun, addicting, and good. Just a few balance issues, really.
The laser and missiles are absolutely ridiculously powerful. You can easily beat the entire game with nothing but them. Just gotta get used to aiming the lasers and well...
That said, I would like to see a longer story, more upgrade paths, and better grinding. Was definitely fun, either way!
Looks much worse than the first one did, and I miss being able to be a werewolf or angel or whatnot. I love the new shops, but a revert back to the original look or an upgrade of the original style and a good race system like the original would be nice.
Lovely game. Hilarious mention of being better than other facilities because you offer candy in every room, whereas other ones only offer cake after testing. Enjoyable and interesting mechanics.
Very creative, but the respawning blobs were incredibly irritating early on, and there doesn't really seem to be anything to keep players coming back.. yet
Very repetitive. The vanishing coins when you are surrounded by things that can pretty much rape you even with a shield, ridiculously thin line of lightning bolt, and the moving forward enough to get out of combo range, in addition to just how many fights you have to do to get anywhere, makes it kinda boring. 3/5
Very good game. I wish that you could see things from just slightly further away, since at a high speed you just -can't- reach a lot of powerups, and at a few points I had clouds covering nearly the entire sky from the top of the screen to the bottom even when I tried dodging them, but other than that, AWESOME. :P This is one of the few games on this site that actually managed to make me get into it enough to go "no!" out loud at a few points, which is saying something for a game of a type I don't normally play.
Nice one. Very nice one. 5/5.
Care to add a story? :p Trying to escape from a disaster zone on a solar powered craft or whatnot?
Thanks for your feedback and your 5/5 rating! We may adjust the visibility range on the powerups - perhaps one of your abilities will give you x-ray vision through the fog.
We're thinking about story as well, stay tuned ;)
There seems to be a serious issue with beam effects and too many projectiles, which can lock up the game even on efficiency mode. I'm not sure WHY it's quite that bad for me, considering I do NOT have a slow computer (it has a dedicated graphics card and can play most of today's games on max quality-- it should not have issues with a little flash game). Something is wrong when the game freezes up and when it stops, you're 3-4 bubble fields away from where you were.
Other than that, amazing game, and I've always loved it. It just gets frustrating when you end up being unable to complete bubble fields due to freezing. I'm STILL giving it a 5/5 too.
