@monster3x, thanks for the monster cage correction, i haven't played in really long so forgot the lvl u should have champion cage by. Almost a year ago =O, started just before school or late August.
Tips for starters: Box yards r the worst type. They r yards where blocks r in a box shape around their yards. Monsters will only go so far or else they will simply destroy the blocks. Upgrading blocks help. It is better to get all ur harvesters to lvl 6+ for higher capacity if u only play once or twice a day. It is better to keep a balance instead of focusing in one area like only upgrading harvesters and silos so u don't get farmed like crazy. Monster cage is also a high priority and should get 1 by about lvl 30. Fomor is best in long term (until Korath is out). Gorgo is only useful for lower lvls. Drull is also pretty good. *Note* u'll have to suffer if u have a Fomor or Drull until u get it to lvl 3+. Kozu is the best loot in map room 1, get them to town hall lvl 6 and u will get about 750k of each resource per silo except goo which is half. Keep farming it but leave the town hall alone so they will repair. *Use the backyard monsters wiki!
So, ppl under the rank master sergeant can't see the new map moonbase? If so, i suggest everyone can see it but for those who r under that rank it is dark and locked and says the rank requirement to join when u put ur mouse over it. That way new ppl don't complain that there is only 1 map and ppl can actually see it and encourage them to rank up faster.
I don't get it, the cannon tower faces upwards? Shouldn't it be shooting up and then falling back down like mortar or artillery? Though it is currently facing straight up so i don't get how it can hit anything but itself or something right above it or even shoot diagonally...
Team balancing needs to be tweaked for moonbase because usually the side with the most ppl wins. Also r u going to update the trailer to include moonbase?.... Oh and "tank shoots shooting stars" XD.
@Player124, wow, u spent all ur shiny before getting a 3rd worker then saved it up a month and spent "some" on towers with only 8 left? U obviously haven't learned much if u r still spending shiny on things other than workers, yardage space and improved packing skills.
Interesting, i noticed the ping for the US west server jumped by about 40, so now it is between 95-110, while the US east is the same at 55-65. They were about the same before, was the US west server relocated or something?
There's a bug now that the game will draw while the bomb is planted. So basically the planted bomb does not reset the timer to a new countdown. It still shows that but the game said draw while the bomb had a few seconds to go.
huh y r ppl rating up hamishcallum for posting a bunch of faces and emoticons that don't even work? Unless he is rating himself up with alts but that would just be plain dumb...
It's amazing how this game has grown with players. Though the weapons r the same after a few months and it seems only 1 new map (Timbertown) was added to the game on nplay but a sabotage mode was added to Crane and Pipeline. Updates appear kind of slow. Though i've been hearing about some new guns with silencers coming...
@3kfd769, u just use the inferno cave to go back to ur original yard. It's at the top left side. U shouldn't have to exit full screen when changing from ur backyard to inferno or the other way around.
oookay, weird bug, my outpost got attacked by akkunabi without warning while i was gone. Then i lost an eye-ra and dave but the dave is in my housing though doesn't appear when i view housing and can't move into the bunker.
@sharkut, i said rifle or the sniper. I never said anything about shotgun. I was asking y some bullets stop mid air with sniper. They r suppose to go as far as the map unless it hits something.
