It seems to me that when one of your characters attacks that has an effect (slows, burns, etc...) hits an enemy, when that enemy takes any other damage the effect goes away. Is this a bug you're aware of or is this an intended mechanic of the game?

I think the level range that people can attack you needs to be reworked. The citadel levels being similar is a huge flaw because im currently lv 20 and being attacked by lvls 35+ every time protection wears off so i can hardly gather any supplies. It should be a flat level range that people can attack you, like a 5 level difference to at least give you a chance.
The wait times for buildings and heroes in this game really need to be lowered. Just for an example, to train 4 heroes to lv 10 is a total of 2 years wait time... thats just a little much.
@ freedomh; I doubt they'd care much, this is a free game after all and I seriously doubt, with that attitude, you used kreds for anything in this game. Bye, you won't be missed =)
@Shatner: if there was stealth detection this game would be way too easy. Ninjas have low health because they can stealth, if towers could attack them during stealth nobody would even worry about ninjas in this game. No stealth detection is one of the main things that makes this game so challenging and fun.
Amazing game, but achievements are lacking a reward. Achievements should give stars, and there should be different levels of achievements. Bronze achievements (killing she sheep, catching fish, etc.) should take 10 to make a star. Silver (killing bosses, killing 2500 enemies, etc.) should take 5 for a star. Gold achievements (Completing the game, training heroes) should give a star each. Just an idea.
Monsters that survive an attack really need to return to the monster bunker. Its entirely too easy to fling a single pokey in the bunkers range and have all the monsters come out, end the attack, then attack again without having to worry about them.

I do have a suggestion though, make it to where you can send messages while being in fullscreen. I hate having to pop in and out of fullscreen when messaging in game
