This was adorable and I'm trying to come up with a reason to go from 4/5 to 5/5, but alas my cold frigid heart was only mostly-warmed by kitty and coding-kiddos. ;(
Did I see a Markiplier reference in there? I wanted to watch him play this before I played it (that way I can't scream at my monitor that he MISSED THE THING), and I don't believe he noticed. The dessert. I saw nothing in the comments, either. It astounded me. Personally, I adored "The Everloom" of his games, and I just love it.
P.S. - Scriptwelder made my 16yo brother squeal like a little girl. When he saw that space suit standing in the airlock doorway...
I have all fuses. The key wheel is attached and all gauges are maxed, save for the overdrive one (bottom left). It will not allow me to insert the key.
I tried to hit "save" but instead hit "exit", which immediately took me to the Main Menu. When I clicked "Continue", it had erased my progress, leaving me with ONE territory conquered, instead of two [plus the battle I defended]. This should be changed so that it doesn't one-click exit you and instead asks for confirmation. Nearly all other games I've played have this function.
Was contacted by the dev while this was in progress, and again when it was finished. I like that. And the fact that we were LISTENED TO with the "cloth sack" problem.... Thank you. <3
Balbanes, you are NOT invincible after meeting your quota. It IS possible to die.
And, as far as badge getting goes, the point of replaying levels is to beat your previous high score. If it could be changed so that when you replay you do not get any money unless you beat your previous "money obtained" record, and then only get the difference in money.
I earned over 330k on levels 15 and 16, the first time I surpassed 100k, the requirements for Six Figure Salary. It says I AM connected to the Kongregate server [green plug], but refuses to update my score. Unless I have to die WHILE holding that score, in which case this badge is crap, making an already flawed game [inability to repeat levels] even worse.
As soon as I noticed I could not replay old levels, I downvoted. For a badge of the day [Feb 1, Sunday], that requires a non-Easy "score value", that is integral. It's ridiculous. A lovely game otherwise, but I can't give it a positive rating.
I worked a little bit on a sword customization system, but I scrapped it eventually... cuz it was too much work.
