@jbizel the entire time. Basically just level up fighting others and your devotee level will raise; NEVER attack friendly animals with Gedo.

So there was a guy for a quest, who after completing the quest became aggressive. Not realizing this, I went down and right past him, he was past my level, and I was forced to fight him. It retreated me back, but my route back was blocked. Trying anyways, I went for it, but was forced to retreat BACK to the square where I'm "safe", but the only places I move will kill me. So... end of my first run at level 4. When I hadn't had to lose any lives or retreats until that moment.

I feel like playing Pyre so I can douse some flames... TOO MANY FLAME PUZZLES!!! And the last one was difficult, because of the pathing wasn't working, and I kept over-shooting the opening and dying T_T

The mapping in the library is annoying; I keep trying to path to get out of guards' ways, yet Dregg still keeps moving directly into the guards.

This is a great game, but I feel the developer should focus on fixing these memory issues before he releases new content. I just got the farthest so far I've been capable of (Floor 238), but there was a memory crash and now I have to start from scratch for the umpteenth time.

I think the scholar and princess of war are backwards. The scholar seemed more a mage type, yet he has the more physical abilities and vice versa.

@Ettera it's a rogue-like game. it's designed specifically around permadeath. Look at games like FTL: Faster Than Light and the game this genre's based on: Rogue. That's the core function.
