At first I wasn't completely excited by this, but the more I play it, the more I appreciate it. It's just gorgeous to look at. My only complaint is that it is sometimes hard to find the cursor.
This game is a lot of fun, and I like the differences between the zombies and being able to allocate my 12 hours. But it gets a lot easier as it goes, instead of harder, so that the later nights are much easier than, say, the 2nd and 3rd, which were the hardest for me. This makes it pretty repetitive. It would be nice if there were different locations or if something changed each night, too.
Is this game based on the book I Am Legend? I only just started the book, coincidentally, but it also opens with a journal recording how the narrator is holding off, in the case of the book, vampires.
I didn't think I liked this kind of game, but I'm really into this one now! Having to turn around is great--very tricky the first time but quickly becomes intuitive. And I like the settings a lot. The main menu graphics don't reflect the look/feel of the game at all--it would be nice if they did.
Bizarrely, I got 567,000 on my very first try (got to level 13, too), even though this is really not my kind of game and I thought the directions were extremely confusing and too complicated.
Very nice, very pretty, very simple. My only problem is that the screen that comes up between levels is so jarring in design compared to the look of the game itself, from the colors to the wording to the typeface. Otherwise, great game.
Really, really fun. I didn't get frustrated until the very last challenge. The graphics are so clever and nice, and I like that it forces you to think creatively.
