pretty cool start. The biggest thing I would like to see is improved AI. the "classes" don't seem different enough based on the say they are acting. Healers should just heal all the time; if that means less hp per heal for balance, that's better then getting unlucky, and watching your fully healed guy in front take 4 hits and die without getting any healing. having some kind of default battle setup that they fall into would be cool, to keep your ranged guys from sitting in some monster's face. looking forward to see how this turns out.
is there a glitch with the storage? trying to store a stack of three rings, and it only lets me put one of them in. Can't select other museum slots for the others
I would recommend adding checkpoints to the longer songs, then add an achievement or ranking for getting through a song in one go. It would be nice to be able to practice the end of a song without having to slog through the part that I already learned. I really like this so far though. It's really easy to mess up a rhythm based game with inconsistent timings, but you nailed it here.
oh wow, I was just about to report a bug because the down button wasn't letting me buy anything at the store before realizing that that's the wrong button. Kind of confusing that to buy something from a guy outside the store you press down, but to buy something in the store is a different button.
I don't think the cost to reroll ancients should go up based on the round, but how many times you've used the reroll. With the cost of ancients in each round rising as much as it does, it feels really bad to waste that many souls (24 in round 7!) on nothing, especially since i haven't used the reroll once yet.
If Vaagur shows up in the first round of ancient rolls, he should show up in the first round after respecing too. Thought this would be the case, and pretty much wasted a respec because he hasn't showed up in 7 rounds.
Very well done. The player mode is very impressive and a unique feature for this kind of game. One i don't agree with though: why limit resource production when offline? all this does is force me to keep a tab open and prevent my computer from sleeping, wasting power and computer life. please consider changing this, and this will be one of the best idle games I've seen.
