You know what, forget the code. It didn't even save the parameter settings. Basically what I was doing was messing around with zero friction and 1 restitution and made a pretty decent simulation with the spheres.

I thought setting bleed mod to 0 actually keeps any of the blood globules from appearing when you explode a ragdoll, because it still spawns blood on body part explosion.
@Alfarno and Miul: I was seeing the same bug last night. Has something to do with the scrollbar maybe as passing my mouse over it seems to be what breaks it.
Hrm, are the two buildings to either side of the beginning storehouse not getting upgraded for anybody?
Also the rollover description text doesn't always get triggered for some reason for me, but eh, not a big deal.

After a bit of play, the problem of buildings taking up all or almost all of the resource tiles, leaving a 'dead' zone in the center, is still there. I'm sure he is aware of this issue.
