for survival mode: -intellect ranger. A ranger that stacks intellect can buff all your party members (1 at a time) to have about 40 regen. They can also deal fairly good damage with envenomed arrow and give a quickness buff to your party. -warrior. They can buff themselves to achieve stun immunity, i managed to get to 55% damage reduction before buffs from just armour. with buffs from a conjuror, can reach 70% damage reduction, then when you use shield wall, everything attacks your warrior who has 95% damage reduction. That can make entire waves easy because you have a turn of near-immunity. -conjuror. The buff that gives 15% damage reduction to the whole party is amazing. summoning 2 war golems to fill the first row is also really useful. Having a second reviver can also be a huge benefit. -intellect cleric. A cleric with intellect is better than one with strength because intellect improves healing and spell damage. Having the cleric at the back means that it pretty much won't die.

hmm... according to this game, a staggering planespine bow of lethality (level 6) is better than an unnerring voidwood crossbow (level 8). When i equip the crossbow and mouseover the bow, it then says that the bow is better. I was mildly amused.

ultimatejosher, by the time all 10 cards from each player are played, generally somebody has complete board control (generally the attacker) so 20 cards instead of 10 would make very little difference

jonstonc, that wouldn't work... 25 WB's can buy you a pack of cards that costs 10k gold. so unless gold (rare) cards sold for a quarter of a war bond each (equivalent to 100 gold, if you go for the 25:10000 ratio), you would always be better off selling for war bonds.

It would be awesome if in arena, you got 1 gold per win you get in a row on a different opponent. So when you win against 1 person, you get 1 gold, then when you win against somebody else, you get another 2 gold, then 3 for the next person, etc. Then when you lose once, the amount of gold per win is reset. This way, you wouldn't be able to get money amazingly fast from arenas, but you could make a fair bit if you had a good win rate. It would also encourage fighting a variety of opponents and using strategy rather than spamming auto against blank decks.

what's the point of a "play for 90 minutes" achievement, when I got absolutely every non-playtime achievement in half an hour?

maxi king, I hope you realise that a combination of fear and leech would be entirely useless. If you hit the enemy commander, you don't get the leech effect.

bobm40, the defenders win ties for good reason. The attacker has the advantage of going first, and having human intelligence on their side. The fact that the defender wins ties allows for a much wider variety of decks to be used for defence. If you couldn't win by stall, that would hinder wall/weaken stalls and structure strike defence decks to the point where they are pretty much useless, making the only viable defence decks left as counter decks, and 1 drop stop decks. This would, in turn, reduce the need for good deckbuilding as you don't need to pack in nearly as much siege in your decks and it would be much easier to make an offence deck

matfatius, there is an ability called repair already, which heals structures. currently it is only used by a raid commander and unit, and isn't available to players... but I assume it won't be long before more cards are made with this ability

darkmasterzorc, you need to do those achievements in order i think. So you can't get the silver pack achievement without bying bronze and you can't get the gold achievement without sillver

to everyone suggesting that a player should be able to choose the targets of activation skills: that would be a terrible idea because it would make activation skills, mainly strike, so much more overpowered. At the moment, the randomized targeting is what keeps strike almost in balance. It also adds a bit of strategy to order of play with rally cards and that sort of thing too.

I personally like the fact that now you no longer automatically find someone from a higher division than yourself. It means you actually have to make a decent deck and have a good win rate rather than just putting together a random rush and hitting up platinum rated people until you win enough, not caring about how many you lose.

there I was thinking that they couldn't get much more hardcore than 4 screens going at once after the first multi-task... now instead of getting 400 or so points as my highscore, i'm having troubles getting close to 100 in any mode >.< so insanely difficult, but so amazingly awesome at the same time. I never knew it was possible to use 6 screens and 12 keys all at once...

dark mark, it's because I disagree with quite a few of the points you bring up. I think the energy system isn't really that bad, especially once you get into faction wars and that sort of thing. The fact that you can't choose your own targets is a good thing. If you could then strike would be way more OP than it already is and the whole game would need rebalancing. also, when you say that some of these 50% skills "change from 10 to 80 all the time" (10+80)/2 = 45%, which is about right. That's the way chance works. You don't always get activations every 2nd time. All the +'s i agree with though.

the thing that seems most unfair in this game is the fact that all the spells are instantly cast. this means you can cast 100 flame arcs in the same time that you would normally make 1 attack. Also, flame arc is AoE, so you can kill any number of enemies instantly if you have enough mana and intellect and an aoe spell.

sacred pact is green and is worse than dark merchant, a common card. This seems a bit weird.
