That was depressing. :(
Generally well done PnC, somehow there was a rather bad lag between clicks and effect breaking the pace too much. Some puzzles were also a bit silly, but the attic part was truly genius.
I wish I could see a continuation with some more uplifting content. :)
I sometimes wonder if the auto-museum function works as intended. I keep noticing that the 'museum all' button sends an awful lot of clovers even though they should have been sent to the museum automatically. Other than that, I wish we could pick clovers from the museum to start a little side-breeding for missing specimen. ;) Great game. :)
Ok, this is very not good... upon multiple deaths the level starts from an earlier checkpoint instead of the latest. Maybe it was intended to prevent 'being trapped' in a difficult room with low health, but it is enormously frustrating.
Indeed, Savestates are a asynchronous process, so if you died too early after getting the checkpoint, only will charge the previous one that you reached, maybe we could improve that detail putting the checkpoint in more safe places! cheers and I'm sorry that you had this problem!
None of the 2 control schemes worked out for you? I'm sorry :/ we made the game in 72 hours for a game jam so a control binding system wasn't a option in that amount of time! we will surely do it in a extended version.
Amazing stuff! I am literally sad I can't go on solving cases. No issues for me, everything was straight forward, maybe even too straight forward. No glitches, bugs. I was very pleasantly surprised by this game. :) 5/5
Some stages are near impossible still. I have spent more time on the few last stages than on the rest of the entire game. At the point of redoing a certain stage for the 20th time the game stepped over from great fun to frustrating drag.
Lag is in the air everywhere I look around
Lag is in the air every sight and every sound
For the crosshair is being sluggish
And the buttons are sometimes stuck
But it's something that I have to put up with
Coz the daily badge is in my sight.
So, invincible enemies following you through closed doors, not hurting other enemies... bad guys shoot you through walls and respawn upon death. Crates teleport and don't respawn upon death... not 5 stars. :D
Lovely little game with some real progression tempo issues. The game feels a little bit grindy at first but then after XP and soul drop upgrades money comes so fast that I jumped from starter sword straight to the last one, from there straight to the best staff and a full set of rings and bracelets. Similarly, After I broke down the first door, I broke down all of them. The endgame was challenging, but I just didn't experience upgrading satisfaction. I hope to see a longer and more balanced sequel.
Despite the freezing bug and the lag that sometimes I have with FF, I really like this game. :) A very minor observation: I think the loot drop management is a bit tedious. Keys should be automatically picked up, maybe also items that give you pure positive bonuses. Once you decide to pick up / replace a weapon or item, the old item could be automatically trashed. ;)
