the problem with level 2 is not that it is difficult: it is fairly easy to hit the ball so it can't be caught. the problem is that 10 hits is a lot, and the level ends up being more about hoping you don't make a random mistake, instead of testing a particular skill.
The player switching leaves a little something to be desired. It gets annoying when you switch four times to a player that is technically closer, but is way behind a player that has broken away.
Decent concept, but needs polish. Lack of things like pause, mute, and quality settings, as well as the poor UI, make it difficult to like. It just seems unprofessional. (Lack of mute was really the deal-breaker for me.)
How the heck do you avoid the special moves of the boxer dude, and the guy with the taser. The boxer deals an unblockable, unmissable hit. If it only took stars, it could be dealt with, but it deals damage. I can't block it high, interrupt it, or duck. Maybe hyper to avoid damage? It seems imbalanced because you can just use it repetitively for a free win.
This game is just not good. This game does not have what made the first Chaos Faction fun to play. The basic attacks are just irritating, and the movement is unresponsive at best. The campaign levels do not explain what you need to do to win, and the lack of a comprehensive options menu is just stupid.
In terms of skill at making the game, it is okay, but the design is severely lacking.
I can't get past the first level. I get the right amount of points, and use all the rocks, and it gives me my score, but then it just stops and waits there.
Battle For Wesnoth... much, much, much better, in every way imaginable. Game is boring, and graphics hurt my eyes. Too much texture and not enough fun...
decent game, but graphics settings are way to high, and there is no way to change them. I frequently have to restart because the game is going to slowly and does not register my clicks in time, thus making me miss the timing of swinging balls.
