I absolutely love the game, except that the long wait between bombs makes it almost unplayable. Literally, if you gave any sign that you would allow more bombs and make more sophisticated levels, I would play it and love the _instant_ it was uploaded.
Honestly - not impressed. The menus/graphics are flashy, but not engaging. The gameplay is tired. It's not bad, but it just doesn't seem to have anything new to offer the vast number of games that already exist.
Not bad. For full disclosure, I have never been good at pool games. However, I liked this game pretty well. It avoided the carnival-y, "wacky", style of most pool games that are knocked out by professional sites. The timing-as-power mechanic was awkward at first, but disappeared after a while. All in all a solid game. Not a "omigoshyouneedtoplaythis", but something to be proud of.
Regardless of views, I support any game that makes some sort of statement. A statement is one of the most important things separating games from art, and that is a divide I believe must be crossed. However, on that note, the game is simply a missile command clone with admittedly excellent graphics. In addition, beside the meta-theming, the game itself did not particularly emphasize the theme, and thus failed to make a message beyond provoking discussion about an already controversial topic.
The game-play itself is... old. Somewhat flashy, but with a step back in terms of the mechanic details (i.e. blast radius's are small, missiles are not fired as to aid in combo-ing them.)
Final Result: 3/5
Nice start! I really like the multiple ship mechanic - enhance it as much as possible, as it really makes you stand out. Mabye levels with two or three routes in parallel, where you have to coordinate movement of multiple ships while fighting enemies? Wherever you go with it, it is level, menu, instructions from a solid professionally made game. Congratulations!
Rated 1 for Single Platform Unity Web Player. A web plugin should be completely cross platform, or it defies the point of a web plugin vs a desktop app.
Well, that's ruff? What Platform are you on that Unity can't support. I have tested the game on Mac and PC and it seems to work fine. I know they also support Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera. Maybe I don't understand what you mean by single platform.
There IS a Last Stand 3, but it is very different from Last Stand 1 and 2. It is not really a sequel. Alpha Testing:

"""Last Stand - There will not be a Last Stand 3 in the forseeable future. I repeat, NOT. There will however be a sequel and it will be different. Better different, not bad different. I love the series too and get a lot out of creating them, so it will be back in a few projects time."""

Not a good game. Nice concept, but unpredictable hand and leg motions, combined with the "Bonebreakers", mean that most of the game is spent desperately trying to get your player to do anything at all while she's being ground into the corner. I want it to be fun, but I end up restarting the match when the bonebreakers come out.
The whole game is buggy, low quality, and unresponsive, and yet it is addicting somehow. Like cheap crack. You play thinking, "if only I could make this stupid ball do something usefull when I ask it to, I could win this level easy... Maybe one more try..."
Honestly, this game would be better if it was physically larger. It gets hard to see what's going on in all the clutter. Besides that, a truly excellent game. Nerdook has taken the world of flash games by storm!
I would rate it a lot higher if the robbers would actually shoot if they are being shot at. I set up a fancy ambush, and they all just sit there and get shot at by a single guard while I manually aim each one.
Good Start, I liked the idea of the planes actually dodging your bullets, but the sheer number of planes made it impossible to play with this mechanic, and it became repetitive. Maybe some powerups to increase damage or firerate would be nice? Or make it more of a 1v1 battle, and add spread weapons or guided missiles, to take more advantage of the plane AI idea.
Seems like you tried to replace fun gameplay with "controversial" subject matter. Maybe you should have tried harder making a quality _game_ instead of quality gore.
