It felt very scripted. the bonuses were laid out exactly far enough apart to make sure you never ran out of anything (which to me kills some of the frantic enjoyment) and the skulls are obviously designed to make sure you get the right upgrades in the right order and don't leave the path the developers intended.
A seemingly normal kid falls off a boat and immediately becomes a contract killer in a strange cutthroat town with a surprising amount of kind elderly people. Seems legit.
I'm locked out of the cty, I've got the gladiators mark and the gladiators costume but every time I try and play the gladiator game he says I've got no sword... What am I missing?
Laughable enemy design, crappy dialogue, throw away story, the enemies are narrower than the crosshairs, apparently the bandits blocking the road are made of random animals. Not a fundamentally broken game but its somehow much more dissapointing when what could have been a great game is riddled with obvious flaws.
I know it would take a lot of work but in my opinion a big part of the appeal of these games is decking your character out in the best available armor and everything and its a big let down when your characters appearance doesn't change to match his armor.
Its definitely a great game but it sorta feels like a rip off of amorphous +. definitely a good standalone game but it pales in comparison to amorphous and its hard not to compare the two.
Theres no way the developer is a native english speaker... aside from the glaring language errors it looks like the start of a decent game it just needs some more effort.
you're missing the sword :) have a look at the wooden handle's description
