What I liked about this game: Innovative idea, actually basing the game around the story. Kinda cool gun ideas (At least, the Crusher and Sawblade were and I liked some of the others as well), interesting bosses (the first world anyway). What I didn't like (And these are minor things to me, the good stuff outclasses the bad by quite a bit): Very little effort put into the actual gaming part, player actions had no effect on the story except for the wishes, very little actual effect caused by the beginning questions. For next time, try putting more effort into the gaming parts if possible (though I won't kill you for not doing so), make story trees which can be explored by making different choices, and make those questions a bit less hypothetical.
mp5, this is a story game. It isn't supposed to be about the actual shooty bits, otherwise it wouldn't seem like some of the first-gen flash games. The entire point of the game is that it's story driven. While I'd, personally, like to see the gaming aspects improved (Even if just with some different death animations, I'm getting tired of seeing stalagtites exploding as if they were ships), I'm more than content with putting up with the repeated maps and bosses for the sake of the epic storyline.
Bugs: Randomly switches between all of the unlockable weapons on INSANE mode. Character occasionally disappears from the screen altogether, and a beige square appears in the bottom left corner (Confirmed on last level only)
...Gah... The Narrator is one of those window voices, the movement, Zero Grav stuff, and balloon flight is WAY too slow, and the story, to be frank, is boring. -_- 1/5
Something I'd like to see, though, is use of hostages. For example: You get seen when about to kill the target. Instead of killing him, you can hold down H while running at him to take him as a hostage. The enemy won't shoot at you. After your bar runs out, you'll kill the hostage and will have to run.
"Oh my god! Found the assassin! Shoot him!" *Bang* "Bob..." *Bang bang bang* "Bob." *Bang bang bang bang bang* "BOB!" "WHAT?!" "That... Was the janitor. Phill." "...Oh."
"Hey! I saw him run into that bathroom! There's even blood here to prove that I was shooting at him!" "Yeah, yeah, we all have fantasies of shooting the assassin, but we all know that you didn't do it." "Well what about the blood then?" "Red paint. Now go get me a sandwich." "...-_-"
Uhm... So a few problems with game. First: No sideswipes. Second: Why is it that I lose health really quickly when a Zombie is slashing my bus, but I don't take ANY damage when I ram a TANK at full speed? And why are there wrecked tanks here anyway? Zombies aren't destroying those. If they aren't wrecked and the drivers were just infected... Why can't we use them?
The potion bottle is in the tavern on the rack of shelves behind the barman. +Up so people can see, because it seems people are having trouble with this. =/
