"Sir, this base is destroying everything we send at it! Our rockets have nearly no effect even when they strike! We should pull back, this thing can't attack unless we attack it first!" "No! Send in the fire-tanks!" "But sir, if a rocket can't hurt it how could simple fi--" "I DON'T CARE, SEND IN THE FIRE-TANKS! I love those things."
And last revivew-- The reason I liked the last game was because you could move around. You had turrets, but it wasn't side-scrolling and you could control where you went and when you went there. Also sending enemies flying into lakes and stuff was a nice touch. But this is just another one of those lame overdrive bullet-hell plane shooters, which are fine, but you're using the fame of the first game--which was a completely different genre-- to boost this game. 2/5 because I had a very small amount of fun for the first three seconds.
The main thing I don't like about this game is that if you leave your army alone for five seconds without micromanaging, they'll have torn apart your entire carefully planned out strategy without any assistance from the enemy.
