jmeeske: Grinders have to be exposed, either by running them into each other or by making them roll over Meltie acid. 5 hits from there. They lookkinda molten when you can damage them. Horrors, you have to wait until it sends those 4 disks after you, then run in and kill it before they get back. One slash'll work. Void Eaters, you have to wait until they shoot their gravity beam thing then splat them. The beam is stronger than you run though, so you kinda wanna sidestep as far as possible, move diagonally towards them and let them pull you in. Again, one hit's enough.
The biggest problem I had with Kingdom Rush was that I had to invest tons into my barracks to make the soldiers anything more than meatshields, and in later levels they were STILL meatshields. Then I decided to try this, and imagine my surprise when I got to level 4 and 3 level-3 warriors exterminated all 60 traitors on one of the waves with next to no trouble...
So0meone's guide to Ninja Warz:
1. Level up as slowly as you can.
2. Complete as many Achievements as you can for the free Karma.
3. Upgrade your Ninjas to as far beyond the standard for your level as you can.
4. Sell any Karma weapons/Relics you find (Yes, you can get them from drops and you do get Karma for it). Use the Karma for upgrades to your Ninjas.
Yeah, you need Karma for a lot, but it's easier to get than people seem to think. There really is a limitless supply, it just takes longer to get than it does for payers.
Full sequel please? As in, entire second game, not Talos expansion-ish stuff?
Also, badges. Badges, badges, badges. How does this game not have them?
And a tip for new players: Get a good ranged arm as soon as possible. It makes the early stuff much, much easier.
