I think if you add a pvp/multiplayer element to this game, it could go very, very far. As of now, it's a great single player idle game and the good bones for an excellent expanded version. An upgrade in the UI and graphics would attract more people as well. I'm not turned off by single graphics, but a lot of people like an eye candy game and when you look at the games which are very successful, they all are visually very nice to look at.
This game is just annoying, and I love puzzle games like this. You just have to be too precise and try things over and over and over again until you get the timing exactly right. That's not brain power, that's trial and error^n. 1/5 stars.
I don't think there should be level caps to any of the upgrades. Also, the game has a shortish sort of play time, and once it's beaten, it's done. I maxxed my resources and all upgrades long before the end and didn't even finish it, since it just seems like playing it out would be a bit boring to wait for the invasions to come in order to progress further.
Much better than people's comments would have led me to believe. It's an idle game, so it has a slow burn start. If you're expecting to jump right in and get super far right away, you'll be disappointed. But have some patience and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Love the rogue like design of it. Very nostalgic.
Ok, I was thinking the problem was my browser's ability to run unity, but maybe it's the game that's bugged. None of the buttons seem to work at the top of the page, i.e. the map, economy, upgrades, achievements, or options buttons, or the talk to catherine button.
any suggestions?
I would be nice to be able to control the volume of the sound fx and the music, so they could still be on, but low and you could listen to something else at the same time.
I think you need some higher value gold items past the diamonds. Or maybe that's coming, but I've beaten the dragon 4 times, and I'd assume it would have come by now. The gold doesn't seem to increase that much with the difficulty.
But good game.
should be able to buy ship slot upgrades and switch them out, instead, you have to buy a new one each time to want to switch from one to the other. yeah, homing missiles = total destruction!!!
Just wanted to say that the place where the recipe for the potion IS NOT OBVIOUS AT ALL. I had to read that it was "behind the note to self" and then look, and look again, and look a third time before I realized there was another page to the note.
Definitely NOT OBVIOUS, as I played about 5 times before realizing that there WAS a recipe and looking at a walkthrough, and then when knowing EXACTLY where to look for it, still couldn't find it (this is coming from a very high IQ person, so the problem isn't that I'm stupid or unobservant).
We're aware about that, and we'll working on it. Tahnk you for your support! ;)
