I recommend making the "Finish now for x crystals" button a different color so that people don't click the finish button thinking it's completed. Almost fell for that one myself a moment ago!
Hi sonicfreek, thank you for the feedback. We added a confirmation panel for all the "Finish now for x crystals" buttons. Even if you press the button by mistake you will not spend the crystals unless you confirm that’s what you want to do.
Not sure how it's happening, but there's a graphics issue with no known cause as far as I can tell. All off the stats and upgrades become thrown all over the screen with a bunch of random bonus colors mixed in at random parts of the screen.
In case you don't understand what I'm talking about or just need a better example, you can find it here: https://gyazo.com/dc26b8011963af2d9606d4390bf7ba41
Septicillion* is spelt wrong.
I recommend going over all of your large number spellings and comparing them with this: https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_for_large_numbers
Let me rephrase the comment I made a long while back referring to a "Buy to the next upgrade" button.
What I meant was make a button that could upgrade my level 238 greenhouse directly to 300 (where the next 2x bonus is) with only one button push.
I personally no longer care for getting this as a feature, I only bring it back up because I scrolled past a few newer players asking for it.
Something you may wanna fix is the name of the number after Quattuordecillion. What You have after that right now is "Quinquadecillion" when it's supposed to just be Quindecillion. Also, After that you left out the x in Sexdecillion.
Hey sonicfreek, thank you for raising this. We checked the source you shared vs. what we used. This is the article that we used:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_large_numbers
. We implemented US, Canada, and modern British terminology. The status of this article is “needs citations for verification.” The status of the article you shared is ”this article has many issues” and “this article does not have any sources.” So, for now, the current implementation seems to be the most accurate.
However, it is clear that there are many versions of terminology for large numbers. Pending on what the players find on the internet the interpretation for the same word will differ, and this might be confusing. We are considering switching to an alphabetical system for clarity and simplicity purposes. What do you think about this? Would it help? Feel free to let me know your thoughts on this either here or via pm.
Hi sonicfreek, thanks for inquiring. “Buy next upgrade” button can be found in the main screen (the one with all the businesses) on the right lower corner, right above the “Build mode” button. The “Buy next upgrade” button becomes green whenever a player has the needed coins to buy the next upgrade, and it displays the upgrade the player would be buying if pressed. This button is meant to save players the trouble of going through the “Upgrades menu” to buy the next upgrade available.
