TheAzureMetal: That's why I generally tend to kill enemies by launching them out of the boundaries or into the sun/shields rather than knock their HP to 0. I had very little problems getting all 25 gold stars in this game.
devil090: My PC isn't near the best (in fact, at one point, my most recent available update for my graphics driver was back in '05), but the game doesn't lag at all for me. Maybe you have too many programs running, maybe you need to clean out the Temporary Internet Files, whatever. mog8000, the codex in game says the nightmare takes damage only by getting hit with his own attack, i.e. the boulders. When he's hit, some black gems will split from him. You must collect those to damage him. Also, make sure you have as many skills as you can get so you can recover faster.
...the game locks up and prevents anything from happening except for volume change if you load without having any data to load...
And yes, I made sure the game was the active window.
wolf610: It's SUPPOSED to be common knowledge about the BAC level when driving. I recall needing to know that information to get my permit. Though there are discrepancies between states in some cases, the general rule is don't go above .08 BAC.
As for the game itself, I strangely found it a fun game and a healthy challenge. Damn you, level 12.
The one thing that the author of the game could've done better is not completely remove Tristan from the game after reaching the sixth star. Nothing says he still can't kill things. Only difference is that Tristan would infinitely level after the sixth star.
The day people stop rating zero and one for stupid reasons is the day I live on Mobius.
Achievements: Hobbits: Read instructions and credits. Dwarves: After starting the game, save, quit, reload, save, quit, reload, there you go. Bombermen: Lose three battles. (The rest of these, I forgot what they unlock.) 4: Clear chapter 17. 5: Research everything for all races. 6: Clear chapter 18.
KickFlipper: You play on Challenging or Heroic difficulty? If not, do so. Kill won't record otherwise. If you were, screenshot your win and file a missing badge report. drzj42: If you'd take five seconds to mouse over the achievement in game, you'd know.
The most annoying things I see on comments are these:
1. People asking for help when the answer is given in-game. Example: Learning to fly. There's a sign next to the spot where you learn to fly. If you don't know what meditate means, stand on the platform, then go find an online dictionary and look it up. Once you've learned a new word, you'll find you've already done it. X3 (You don't have to look up the word to get it, but it passes the time.)
2. Rating a 1 just because it doesn't load. If it doesn't load, DON'T RATE THE GAME. It hurts the overall score more than it should.
Sorry for the rant, but I needed to say it. And for those who can't beat the boss, it does have a pattern. Just sit on the middle platform and watch the snake go by. You'll see it.
If you think Dr. Herregods is hard, just wait until you fight the Shadows. One of them has an attack which will insta-kill whoever he launches it at. Of course, with the proper setup using 22 ability points, he's nothing. Three words: Block (skill), attack, heal. And make sure you have a way to keep your focus maxed out (Regen level 10).
And darknut: Spire bridge lever is literally above the fifth runestone. You will need flight to get to it. You'll see for yourself when you get to the contents of the bridge where the Rune bridge lever is. X3 (Sorry for multiple commenting. ^^'')
To the guys making me facepalm about learning to fly: Try reading the dang signs the developer kindly placed in the game. One of them actually TELLS you what to do, you just have to actually think a little bit on what the word 'meditate' means.
