First, too easy. Second, it's really annoying that I can't edit or move points. Having to re-delete everything and guess on where all these nodes will line up is a PITA.
When a ship starts crashing at the edge of the screen it shouldn't be allowed to cross the edges.. they almost always fall where the tank can't shoot them. Have them bounce back out the way they came.
The bonuses don't make any sense. I can get them up to as much as $270 but then later on they'll be as low as $30. Some explanation would be nice. Seems as if the more that hit the ground the less they're worth. Dodging is so tough it becomes almost impossible to upgrade further on because you're spending all of your money on armors.
Tentionmaru - one shot means one click of the mouse - not one pellet. One pellet can only pop one orb before it loses its energy. So just get a good messy screen full of orbs and load up on pellets and blast away.
Challenge 4- It's a lot easier if you use your one pellet to work down one big orb into pellets. Then load up a concentrated spot and blow it into a big orb and chase down your pellets and keep shooting them into the mess. Rinse and repeat.
Bananban; I forgot about those complaints too.. Make a sell or delete spot to get rid of a gear you accidentally bought. Also its very annoying when you buy a gear and the janky joining algorithm makes you drop the gear behind a slide - forcing you to buy another. Then on top of that the gears can fall behind the little purchase areas of each of the gear types and can't be clicked on again.
Disappointing. I really like machine and tinkering games too :(
For people wondering how the scoring works - it appears the 'complexity' is an arbitrary number set for each level. From there you subtract the cost of gears, subtract your time penalties (which are mysterious in and of themselves) and add the bonus gears.
Good lord it just happened again. Map clear - my tank is alive (didn't lose any tanks or officers, so no big morale hits), but they surrendered anyway before I could deploy an officer (for the boost) because my reinforcements kept hitting land mines. (Unit idea: Engineering unit that can create new trenches)
OOoooookay... So I almost had the last mission beat (I had both trenches) but ended up surrendering anyway. That makes perfect sense! >:( (If you have a majority of the trenches or all of the trenches you should have a morale boost or not be susceptible to morale-surrender)
I like it, rotational thrusters definitely need to be moved to WASD, and made so that you can hold the key down. Having to tap-tap-tap the key really stinks.
