I found the medium badge much easier to do if I went on the offensive first, rather than waiting for the enemies to destroy each other. I went to the left first straight away, then to the next one, then up to the top (waiting for the bombs to clear), then finished off the other two. Completed it first try playing offensive, whereas I failed multiple times playing defensive.
Now that was a fun game (as are the others in the series). I was a little confused with the last level at first, then I saw the solution and thought "oooh well that was simple!"
I like my fair share of idle games, but this.. this game is just way too slow of an idle game. There's a prestige system, but you pretty much only reset and prestige when the game allows you to. Better games let you prestige as often as you want even if only for a very small increase in stats, but that small increase in stats makes the game more entertaining than waiting two to three days to reset, then waiting two to three days to do it again. It took me over a week to get the medium badge, just because I got bored a few minutes after I opened the game. Maybe it gets better later on, but I'm not going to stick around to see.
Jump+ was a little frustrating, as I was initially trying to gain momentum using the arrows and the gap in the middle. Instead do your loop to the left of the arrows then when you have enough height go right to the first group of arrows and bounce over to the next, then you'll sail over the final block.
Well that was a fun game! I completed it on my second go, alternated between upgrading my shields and weapons first, then upgraded allies and engines once I started to destroy the yellow protecting orbs (you'll need engines to keep up with them). The triple shot also helps when you're getting surrounded as it will clear through the enemies quite quickly. I also threw on the secondary cannon, but not sure how much effect this had. I didn't touch the smart missiles or the repulsion shield though, so not sure how good or bad they are.
It was an interesting game, but rounds got quite boring just mashing Z all the time, and throwing in X and C once they had recharged. No real skill needed, especially with the runes. The only hard level was the last one, but this bugged out for me on my second go and said that I had won despite the boss still having 2/3 of his health left.
Great game, but would love to be able to see the stats of my current weapon/equipment when checking items in the black market. Would allow easier and quicker decisions on whether an item is worth the upgrade and how it compares to what you have now. Would save switching between the armour/weapons and your equipment, and then remembering which equipment you have on (in the case that you have multiples on an item modded in different ways).
