So... I spent a lot of time creating a balanced, interesting world with lots of secrets, hidden surprises and funny dialog. It got played 25 times and lost in the abyss while the top games except for "the unofficial tutorial" are less than amusing... I guess that's what happens. If anyone is interested it's the "Name Calling Adventure".
So many good things about this game and so many things need fixing. I really want to like it more. A.I. needs help, upgrading and deployment menu is ill conceived for an RTS, and for the life of me i cant figure out the cover/obstacle algorithm. Why have a randomly generated battlefield if it doesn't actually do anything? I don't get it. finally, the stats on soldiers are too random; if I want a medic, I want him to be a medic, if I call in an officer he should be better than a grunt etc... otherwise, this game has amazing potential. I keep playing it more out of curiosity than actual fun. It looks like there may be an updated version on mudandblood.net ...i'm going to check it out
seriously a solid game... i thought the first one "I saw her standing there" was brilliant as well. This is a perfect example of how graphics are not as important as concept, clarity and feel. well done 5/5
Good game overall, my only complaint, the rules you set for the game should always work. ALL plants should be able to be manipulated, no excuses. whether it helps or not. maybe have a "remove stardust" option so the plant would revert back to original size. great for revealing or sealing caves, natural elevators or blocking paths. ...maybe in part 2?
Not bad... bought the highest level of dog, accidentally went back in and clicked on the cheapest dog. had to raise 750 to buy the dog again... then it froze. 3/5. Good test, needs more guns, locations, upgrades, sell-able items. weapon and armor degradation, more secondary weapons (like mines and barricades). and how about missions... Like secure the area by fighting your way through zombies and turning on all the light generators. Tons of potential. that's it... i'll check back tomorrow and all that stuff I just said should be added. ;)
that sucked... couldn't equip the sword during the tutorial. Now I'm stuck with a stick. Where'd the freakin' sword go??? nowhere that's where... and I have to try and kill dragons with a twig?!?? It wont even let me restart... so I guess that's the last time I play that game. done and done. rated 1 star. If someone can tell me how to reset I'll give it another try. Til then... DONE!
LOL... Dolemite Infusion... "I'm gonna let 'em know that Dolemite is back on the scene! I'm gonna let 'em know that Dolemite is my name, and flipin' up motherflippers is my game!"
I haven't the slightest idea what I'm doing ...and for some reason... I want to upgrade my fighter, buy trees, print counterfeit currency and feed a dragon over and over again even though I know its all a lie.
great concept. would love to see more of a gradual progression. Also sticking with the same character rather than turning into a space ship... or start with a spaceship and advance it with new technologies. similar to "upgrade this" though not focusing on the art direction but perhaps the pixel count.
*fist bump*
