Also playing this game on computer with a mouse is tedious. It takes patience to set up a shot to begin with, then you left click to shoot and as you click the damn line will move and totally ruin your shot. You're either have to shoot because the timer or will have to try and cancel the shot and it's all a headache. To cancel you have to go back to no power, but often you'll find the cue will tap the cue ball. If you pull back too far then sometimes I find there's no way to cancel the shot at all. If you do use a mouse with this game my tip would be try to set up the shot with cursor somewhere away from the cue ball, I find it easier to line up that way, the negative to that is sometimes when you pull back you're click on the cue stick outside the table or the english of the cue ball.
On yahoo pool you could use the keyboard to get that perfect lining, instead the arrow keys are used for putting english on the ball.
After playing this game for a month, it doesn't matter if you play an e-pool shark or a person with a 30% win percentage. They rarely miss. They might miss their intended shot, but one of their balls will go in on the ricochet. Don't ever expect these low win% players to accidentally to hit in the 8 ball either. You'd think hitting balls all over the place that just maybe they'll accidentally knock that 8 ball in, not on this game. Nine ball on the other hand, that 9 ball is a magnet for a pocket.
Seems like half the time I'm getting beat by someone who makes sh@t shot, after sh@t shot, after sh@t shot. It's almost comical how they can hit so many balls but only their balls go in. I had my blocking the opponents ball on the rail and like magic his by defied the law of physics of not touching my ball and he made it my side balls side of the pocket.
I beat it woot woot. Level 23 gave me the most problems because I was making it more difficult than it actually was. There's 30 levels and the last one ends with a nice unique touch.
The rainbow ball is too random. I didn't get one until 80 balls in. Also we should know where the new zombies are going to be ahead of time, so we can try and set up our balls in a better place. You could put a rectangle box at the top at the top for the new zombies that will appear. Kinda like tetris/dr mario would let you know the next blocks/pill would be.
So what I'm pretty much saying is we need a little less randomness so we can utilize our skill better.
Just got up to 129. You mess up just a little and then it really sets you back. You're just hoping for some luck or that golden ball. Some how I was able to clear the whole board of zombies wihen I had 70 balls, the golden ball hit most of them. Addicting game.
Thank you! Great feedback.
