Hey, Shrapnel. I guess that was a one-time bug.
I'd played a couple of other games, loaded this, and the game window was indeed maybe 1/5 of its desired size. I played some other games, and then re-loaded this, and now your game is in a nice big window. I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.11. What else can I tell you?
One good thing - the graphical style is an improvement on the original. But the gmae loses points for not having inertia in the ship movement. Also, the non-square screen in a little odd.
Not bad - I don't know if this is stolen or not, but this kept me playing for a while. It has a bit more depth than appears at first. I wonder if there's an end? (I made it past two bosses so far.)
An interesting start, and it kept me busy for maybe half an hour. It has lots of bugs, of course, but my top items to fix are:
1) mute button for the music; 2) gold drops are much too low; or there should be other ways than defeating monsters to make money; 3) you can Fight/Run/Fight/Run repeatedly to get EXP without actually fighting any monsters.
Oh, and "burnacid" should take a chill pill....
A fun challenge (not too hard) is to win the game using only Dart Towers (also known as "regular monkeys"), UN-UPGRADED, and with no lives lost. I also only added monkeys between rounds, not during them. I just did this, and ended with 8308 money unspent (I last added monkeys between rounds 45 and 46), and there were 88 monkeys lining two-thirds of the track - a veritable wall of monkey death!
No way is that possible.
For example, there's no way that only 5 un-upgraded monkeys can handle Round 12.
Nice try though. Oh, and the game has a max of 40 lives, not "fiddy".
No way in hell is that possible.
For example, there's no way that only 5 unupgraded monkeys can handle level 12.
Nice try though. Oh, and the gave has a max of 40 lives, not "fiddy".
