It was a bit hard for me to get used to the mechanics of shooting, but after a while I really got into this. I just finished the last level and it was a blast! This game has great music and sound, and some of the best, most humongous chain-reaction explosions ever seen.
Nice little game - levels aren't very hard though. The boss level is a little weird until you figure out the pattern. Music is kinda fun for this sort of game.
OK, I slept overnight, sat down to play, and won on my first try. Yay! 147 (had 3 misses, so not a perfect score yet).
However, a bug report: on my next play, I lost on the 25th question or so, and the ending screen gave me the "Congratulations!" message again, even though my score was 118.
Game is buggy!
I was on the 30th question, with 2 misses so far. I was sure I typed the right answer for #30 (I'd gotten it right before), and the game ended and gave me a score of 25. WTF?!?!
Finally got the hard badge, once I realized you can use the "indestructible" timer to wipe out a lot of enemies for extra points.
Music is nice and fits this game - you don't need adrenaline here - just patience and skill. This is a nice little game.
Game could be better. Powerups are too easy and/or waves of enemies are not hard enough. Bosses are a little tough though. The "Survive minutes" levels are more tedious than actually difficult.
Yes, unlimited continues help a lot. But still it took me a few tries to get the hang of this. After that, it's largely a game of dodging the enemies. The music is a great fit for the game. And the end boss is a sonofabitch to kill. It took me a couple of dozen tries to get him moving just right. Maybe you need a lot of engine speed to deal with him? I had very little.
