When advancing in the game is too slow and becomes a grind and a frustration, then surely the developer should be tweaking this? Good fun at first but seriously dogged by a long, drawn out and frustrating upgrade path.
Interesting idea for a game and fun to a point. However, there are just too many annoyances from long drawn out in between game sequences to tricky control.
A pretty good game although I would describe it as a work in progress. A great selection of characters available and good variety of objects and spells to collect. However, the game play is fairly flat and becomes repetitive quite quickly, although I got a good hour (or two) entertainment out of it. I just get the general impression that not much time has been spent on it, which isn't necessarily a bad thing as it is good for what time *has* been spent on it. It could do with fair more amount of development to make the game play more varied. One glaring omission is the ability to save your progress. This alone seriously limits replay value as you would have to always start again. Despite this, it is a fun crawler and would certainly play version II!
