Odd how 2 shots with a moderately upgraded Ak-47 kills a huge zombie with an unusually over sized machete yet it takes 10+ clean hits with the same gun to take out a head-throwing zombie.
To have him alive but with no arms or legs you need to rip off his parts with the hand by removing the rope then nailing his shoulders to the wall. This may take several attempts but I managed to succeed on my 2nd try.
