Hey y'all, in case you didn't catch it, workplace romance can be achieved if you say 'No' to the council. It takes a while, but your Royal Advisor will ask if you want to go out. It took me until Day 103 for the full conversation. (It started around day 50).

Also, I saw somewhere that the romance works this way whether you are a king or queen (I've only tried it as a King).
