I'm sick to death of these stupid Idle games, they've over-run Kongregate and now it's just a pile of crap where kiddies turn on twenty different "games" and go off to do something else. Pointless and it degrades the value of this site.
I was gonna give this game a 3, since it was kinda entertaining, even though the cost of items was HORRIFICALLY unbalanced...
But that ending dropped it to a 2. How anticlimatic for all that effort.
lvl36: Rush the warp with everyone you have. Whilst taking it, you'll find the blacks probably attacking your planet. Respond with half your force, send the rest to the nearby battle station. Once the black attack is dealt with, they will attack another, but due to their speed, you won't be able to do much. Every time you win a battle, get to the warpgate, unless the planet you want to get to is adjacent. The long bit: Capture all the planets on your side, making sure the blacks don't get any. After, keep an eye on the number of blacks. If they're running low, get everything you have, send it to your warpgate and fire it into the centre. If not, keep building up and defending what you have. Make sure the blacks do not capture a battlestation! If you see this likely to happen, do anything you can to stop it. Finally, always warp into a battlestation you're attacking, else you're wasting troops. It took me three attempts and a long time to get this level beat, by damn, it's worth it.
This had a truly amazing story, and yet, I feel the end let it down. That final conversation with Christina just felt like it was less than it could have been.
Way, WAY too easy when you figure the most simple strategy ever. Play as the elf person. At the start of the round, instantly get barracks, a few warriors, and otherwise upgrade your farms and foundry. When the enemy, with their massive force, come to attack your few warriors, click on the Hermes Boots ability and watch your warriors absolutely slaughter them. Repeat whilst building up for force & upgrading, then send your warrior army in to attack. With Hermes boots active, they can take down the enemy fortress in a matter of seconds.
The ONLY time this didn't work was the last level, where I simply included top level golems and beat it in under 5 minutes.
