I enjoy this game, but the gore does feel a little overdone. In the medieval age arrow wounds were usually treated in-combat by simply breaking off the fletchings and pulling the tip through. I'm pretty sure attempting to smash the arrow through using a mallet is kind of like amputating a limb because of a papercut. Even then I'm pretty sure that blood wouldn't SPRAY EVERYWHERE.
I honestly feel quite sorry for the poor narrator who keeps on getting interrupted while he's just trying to tell a story. "Hippolyta was riding through the forst, and-" "AND THEN SHE RAMMED INTO A BRANCH!" "...No, what I was going to say was-" "A hoplite tripped her horse?!" "JUST LET ME FINISH MY ****** STORY!"
Artillery is useful for a number of things, except actual artillery-strikes. The rocket has too much propulsion and it's usually impossible to hit an enemy with the arc on the rocket- It's essentially a tank that has less arc but less manouverability.
I think they should add a levelling system. I think we all agree that snipers should be added for taking out a bad guy without destroying half the building he's hiding in, so maybe if a rifleman reaches a certain rank there can be an option to upgrade him to either a sniper, or become a grenadier. All in agreement post a similar comment, or add your own ideas to this one.
Yo have to judge where the catapult shells are coming from, then slash them in mid-air (it sounds hard, but just suck it up) I think that there should be varying art styles and clothing for your character- just as a Menpo mask or a suit of samurai armour Also I wish you were able to actually fight alongside allied soldiers -.-
Ah, playing Shogun 2 Total War has taught me one thing- if you aren't a Samurai, don't use a Katana. Luckily, this guy IS a Samurai, and therefore is badass
Creepy... At least this isn't like one of those point-and-click puzzles like "Being One" where something jumps out and freaks the jebezus out of you. I found it quite good
I do have to agree with tribble that the title screen seems oddly similar to Mastermine: World Conqueror but where Mastermind: World Conqueror concentrated more on the domination part, this game concentrates more on the defensive aspect- I think that Nerdook and TheSwain should get together and create a collaborative Evil Mastermind game, it would be the best thing since toilet paper.
