Not a good shmup game. It has a lot of parts where enemies just fill the part of the screen you're in without warning. Little lines are not a warning, because they don't tell you what bullet pattern to expect. The concept of choosing a path for your ship is fun, though.
Shmups can be hectic, but this one was just tiring for both eyes and ears. Too bad, because the actual gameplay was decent. Beat it on Extreme, never again. 3/5
Beatiful shmup, great controls, I really have nothing to complain. But the cheats aren't needed, the final boss should be doable for newbs to shmups too if they max everything out. I did it on my 2nd try with ease.
You've got something here. It's not a game, but it's art. The puzzling elements don't really take any time at all, the only thing I'd improve is the amount of levels and the matching system, since it's annoying to have it and it won't count.
The spacebar is a horrible button for precision jumps. Please make the z/x button available as well. Thank you. All in all, enjoyable, although the lava and walljumping hitboxes are really weird. Sometimes you walljump down/up even though you come to the wall exactly the same way.
Totally luck-based, since I hit more often with an 80% attack than a 95% attack. I'm not even kidding. I'd be suspicious about this, but EVERYBODY sees the problem. Go find a working RNG, please.
Love this game, came back to it for the badges. You can make the last level easier for yourself by using only 1 directional switch. That's all the hints I'll give you.
Controls are horrible. Space is one of the worst keys on a keyboard for gaming and the sensitivity is just awful.
All open levels are unplayable/boring because of constant trolling, all locked levels are not very interesting or too annoying in general.
Nice but way too simple. I loved its minimalism, could use a quiet ambient little tune though. Bit of an abstract piece of piano music? And the teamwork thingy was cute. Only thing I'd change was the controls, they aren't sensitive enough for some of the more precise levels.
You managed to make a simple game very intense. I liked it a lot, a bit more upgrades would be nice. And some enemies will always outspeed the player, that's kind of lame. Oh well, good game still 4/5
I liked it, but Captain + Monk spam is a bit too good compared to other strategic options. I'd say nerf this combo a bit and make the other units a bit more useful and you've got a good game on your hands. The music is repetitive but epic, so I didn't mind it.
You should definitely take a better look at other shooting games.
And while it's not obvious enough yet you ripped all the sprites from Maplestory, why didn't you rip the monster death animations while you were at it?
But yeah, lots of flaws. The sounds are annoying as hell, the upgrades and enemies are not very original and the game is way too easy. There is also not really a progressive difficulty. It's very hard to die during the whole game.
