I played this a few months ago, but only now could I complete it. I also did all the expert levels just for the heck of it. I'm too lazy for the band-aids, though. I hate collection quests.
Good game still.
Epic Dreamer :)
Loved it so much I played it twice, once on Normal and once on Nightmare. Great game, would play again. Some enemies on Nightmare are a bit unfair...you have about 500 HP, but some of the better laser beams do over 300 HP and often hit twice in a row. Instant death is not fun.
Very nice concept, but you wouldn't want to get all achievements, some take way too long. Besides, if you don't get a good initial field, it's a bit too luck-based sometimes to get Obsessive Compulsive.
Anyway an amazing game, got all the badges and I'd totally play it again.
Challenges are luck-based, if you want to keep your cool, don't even try to get the impossible badge. It's not hard but you have to be very patient.
My strategy for the normal 30 level mode was: reset your hand until you draw the instant-make-other-guy-insane card and from there it's an easy game, especially if he got Megalomania you just need to stall for a few turns and keep an armor piercing gun to finish him off..
The concept is still good, but the execution is awful. Whenever I have over 10 pieces of stuff on my building screen, when I draw an extra bar, the game divides it into multiple small bars depending on how big the lag is. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone who doesn't like to get frustrated.
Short and meh. I hate how some enemy encounters give you 3 guys, all aiming at your eyeball. You're bound to take a hit there, which sucks. Also how is the AK47 just as slow as the Sniper or the Pistol? Makes no sense. Overall an OK game, quicktime events were very unrealistic though.
Give a plus to this comment if you thought the game was way too easy. The final boss never got me down to 75% health and neither did anything else in this game.
It would be cool if
1) There were more minigames, or at least some level of complexity to them
2) The minigames weren't glitched like hell (ie. sometimes the climbing wall bends offscreen and you die)
3) You would have to actually use your newfound "skills" instead of watching 4 demented birds hop and root for your own bird.
Hated it, but still wanted to complete it since I got so far with the frikkin pixel perfect jumps. Btw, you need some serious reworking on both your jump and shoot mechanisms, for I have never played a game in which they sucked so much.
I went with the skillbook of blue and green mostly. The problem is that blue towers don't hit hard enough early to get those pesky ninjas (who don't add anything to the game but annoyance). The 15xbrilliant badge is therefore pretty much impossible for me. Other than that it's pretty fun, 4/5.
This game is just too unbalanced. Spider tanks are too cheap in both ways. The other units are all worthless compared to those. Enjoy your spider tank swarm in ch4.
The game doesn't really know what it wants.
it wants people to stop playing after a while. which is healthy and stuff, but it also wants people to pay and spam their stupid little link to play infinitely, which is very unhealthy. The gameplay itself is good, but this system needs work. You shouldn't be able to get that big of a head start with irl money.
