I think I've got it. Both games are obviously Kathryn and Jack's journey through each others phsyche. As the game progresses Kathryn's life begins to get back into a healthy state. The ending itself is not just a reference to the first game but it explains Jack's slow decline into an amnesiac and socially un-responsive state. I can only assume his "medicaiton" which is likely something such as weed of cocain contributed greatly to his mental breakdown. The ending of Kathryn falling to 'death' was actually taking place in Jack's mind and represents his newfound amnesia repressing Kathryn's existance and a whole. Perhaps Jack's ability to split himself in his mind isn't so he can keep himself company as much as it is faint ghosts and shreds of memories that he has not completely forgotten yet. It's pretty sad.
amazing game, 9/10 only because the gameplay is somewhat wonky.

Best part: Getting the one ring...... my precious....
Worst Part: Final Boss. Only because I could use Pummel to prevent him from attacking at all.
this is the first time i've played this and i must say that its horrible... COMPARED TO DOOM 2 :D

Rat Ending: click cheese and then the blue jam, then click the scroll, the box, the bottle BEHIND the box you just moved, and then make a green potion with yellow and blue, click the spoon holding the bird in the cage and use it to stir. Then click the mouse, it will get wings, then make a purple potion with red and blue, and you'll escape on the mouse.
Bird Ending: click the scroll and make a purple potion (red - blue), then click the spoon and stir the potion, click the plant to make it knock over the bird cage, click the cheese and then click the lever where the cage used to be, make a green potion (yellow - blue) and click the mouse, click the bottle in the hole and then the little stick hanging out, click the pot again and you'll make rope, make an orange potion (red - yellow) and use it on the plant, and the bird will eat, click the bird and finally, make a purple potion (blue - red) and use it on the bird, THE END
thiss game is very good, 6/5 because its not like all other rpgs u see where u never really need to train because ur allways stronger then the enemies in that area. in this game you have to train train train and then you can move on when your ACTUALLY ready.
eaither that or u can just buy 4000 apples :P
ok heres my opinion... 1. u dont need an I.Q. higher then .5 to understnd the language (watch: island + person = Thumbs down means I (person) dont like (thumbs down) the island (island) ITS THAT EASY)
and 2. its a very good game. anyone who gets stuck anytime before u get the first 2 stones is just one of those "ill just go on mega easy mode and press 1 button to win the game :D" people that use no common sense -_-
