Rhys and I have tracked down the source of much of the slowness. With the upcoming fix, the framerate has doubled for me from 25 -> 50 FPS.

Thanks for your feedback! We've put up v1.2, which addresses the two broken levels in the game that some ran into - "No Way!" and "Sucked Back In"
