I liked played as undead and making a suicide deck - got 2 of the kamikaze global enchantments and two of the half power version (parting gift or something) then lots of gold mines and crystal and fresh skeletons. Got enough cash so that I can spam skeletons and then BAM, let the enemy kill themselves by killing my crap skeletons.
I found the best way to get money was to use the thief (or whatever he is called - doubles what you find in a day) and the runner. I'd then go and do the easiest area and end up making about $4k each day.
When I use crafting my the item I get out is worth less than the parts... Is it just me or does that seem kind of strange? By putting skill into something its value decreases.
Can you make it extend beyond the final battle? I want to max out my character's stats...
Also, the money system is silly. I finished with like 17k money, because I never needed to hire people and equipment doesn't change enough over the life of the to game to ever really justify buying things (except at the VERY start).
When fighting Hungarfen as mage, I have maxed out fire and then got points enough to be able to get 1 into Presence of Mind. However, after presence of mind triggers he never fires my second pyroblast!
For people wanting to get full heroic quickly, here is a hot tip. I got it for my priest in about 2 hours (was already level 70, but had no heroic). Once you can beat the first heroic boss dude, you'll find that the dungeon resets after 24 hours. Just go into your system settings and set yourself one day forward, then you can fight him again, go one day forward, fight him again, etc. etc. etc.
what is the best priest build for lvl 70? I currently have superior wand, armor and book but can't even finish the normal dungeon, let alone heroic.
I am currently trying 0/31/30, though have also tried 21/0/41.
My int is 1597. I am holding out to get epic items for each of the slots to boost myself, but yeah... surely with 4 heroics I should be able to do the dungeon!
I have found a problem with Shadow Word Pain for Priest.
If I pull 3 enemies, the first casting of SWP will start the first and third hurting each second. It then casts a second time to get the second of the enemies. End up in an odd position where, when the first enemy gets killed, the third actually has less health than the second.
To me it seems odd that as a level 57 character I get the same amount of exp (0.1%) from fighting a level 57 as I do from fighting a level 64 opponent that takes me far longer to kill.
For people using the money blade, you need to change away from it and then start using it again to get its damage to update (damage increases with increased $$). It was doing +14 for me, reloaded the game and it jumped to +43. Tested it with just swapping to another weapon and swapping back and that works too.
Great game. Finally got them all "Brilliant", needed to pretty much go just crypts (only other towers were ones to up my mana). Then spammed fireballs and thief champions.
