Why can't I see my stats after I beat the game? I always forget to check the lower-right corner before I finish the last level, and the scores aren't shown after you beat the game. Nice relaxing game tho, quite easy. I like replaying it.
Bug: you can win a black hole level if you build something in the last second when everything is sucked in. The newly built structure will get destroyed a second later than everything else (including enemy structures/units); meaning you have one structure left, the enemy has none => win.
If I infest enemy units, my own units still shoot the newly converted units, and so does the enemy. I also freeze those units before/after they're converted; it might be part of the cause if this is a bug.
I find it easier with left hands on arrow keys, right hands on WASD, because then the left hand controls the left game (balancer, red background), and right hand controls the right game (collider, green background).
Fun and simple game. I like it.
A suggestion for a feature to help those who can't keep track of their double jumps: after you used up a double jump and it gets low, like 1 or 2; the game should give a non-obtrusive visual (or audio?) cue to signal that. It needs to be experimented with to be sure it won't get in the way.
In other news, I like this game very much, and I tend to return to it to play the same way one does for snake: when you're bored and just want some quick fun. People sometimes willingly choose repetative gameplay, see driving games and arcades. People here are addicted to upgrades and badges and games that track meaningless "progress".
When I was a kid, on long family trips I used to imagine a figure running besides the car, skipping and hopping on top of stuff like sign poles and telephone wires, never touching the ground. 'Watch your step' challange mode made me reminisce.
In my opinion, the Viper level (where you can only turn clockwise) only needs one single button to control. Would be much less confusing in tight situations.
GGent: could you please tell me how to beat that map? I've been plowing at it for a week now and I still cant get it. It's ridiculously impossible, the AI is simply not stupid enough to be able to be defeated.
Ok, I figured it out. Same thing, but it needs some luck. Annex cities to the north and delay the attacks on your capital for as long as you can, and try to flank the red capital from the east, through the water. The AI is stupid enough sometimes.
