This is coming along swimmingly with all the updates. I did encounter a problem when I was getting to over 10B credits, it flipped over to Nan credits. Is there a way to fix that up?
One of the great properties of idle games is the ceaseless tweaking of variables and production as you accelerate along the curve. Often changes you make send ripples along, forcing you to make more tweaks to make sure you're getting the most from your efforts. Destination Kepler doesn't really offer that same experience because there aren't really any systems to tweak or manage; you never really seem to have to make decisions, you just follow along the game's path. Without fine-tuning to play around with, the game offers two mini-games asteroid mining and "mission management" but neither are very enjoyable on their own and the rewards they offer aren't very compelling for the effort you put in (indeed, asteroid mining is pointless after you get a couple of auto-miners). Tight resource caps also force you to return to the game frequently to burn off points, which would be fine if the game itself were more compelling but just serve to make you question why you're bothering with it.
About trading (p2p), shouldn't we be able to sell items below retail so the buyer can still make a profit? I mean, I've brought up the level of my shop and I'm just not selling things like clubs and tunics, but I still have a lot lying around.
So, today I ran into my first issue. The game loads up just fine, but my mercenaries never load in (there's just a little loading wheel where each portrait should be). So I can't drop them into a match or fiddle with the equipment.
Otherwise, great game and thanks for being so responsive to the community.
I've been sort of setting and forgetting this game. nothing really feels particularly powerful or useful so my train of mobs just grinds over the opposition in the background hoping that one day something more interesting is unlocked.
It's a fairly standard entry into the console-RPG battle genre. The fighting and story lack depth and there's little real customization you can do with your characters. Fun, but not for long.
