Just so everyone knows, the controls are actually pretty precise. I think where you're having trouble is the control configuration and the fact that your brain doesn't process upside-down jumping and movement the same. It takes some getting used to. I finally beat level 9. Now I'll go back for coins, then flips, then lives, then time. I find it works better that way. Probably will never get 0 lives on all of them but it's fun for a while. It also helps to just stop and come back later/next day if it starts getting frustrating. And the fact that there's no level restart is really frustrating. Not sure if it's a ★★★☆☆ or ★★★★☆ yet, but the difficulty does not scare me.
Oh great, it's "Idle: The Anti-Game"...I'll get the arena and find something fun. Figuring out an opponent's pattern is the only reason you should ever have to wait to play something.
Once again, not sure how this is in the Apocalypse Nao catagory...maybe the Postapocalypse nao. The music's ok. The games is... ok. It's like canabalt in slow-mo, without any pits, and you can stop to catch your breath whenever you want. A little lacking in a lot of areas, but you're definitely on to something. Wasn't really my thing but still there was effort and skill put into it. ★★★☆☆ for me.
ok I see how to do it now. of the obvious crush the little pesky rocks and practice until you can slide from one to the other at 45 degree angles. then there's the pause just before and just after a big rock. but what people don't really talk about is that it's all about the combos. even if you have to jump prematurely back at the sun a little and hit another rock to go back up. even if you have to jump back and forth in between rocks until you can find a way out. don't let the combo stop for anything.
lol people that don't think swimming across an ocean and pushing boulders is a skill are the same ones that expect the developer to make the game easy enough for a 3 year old. Where is you sense of accomplishment from overcoming challenges people?
Wait a minute. There are 2 slots. 1 for bow and 1 for accessory/arrow. So if you have to have both taken with bow&arrow, then why is there a ring for increasing bow damage?
People, stop complaining. There are only balancing issues if you don't understand RPG's. Too weak? Buy a better weapon. No money? Kill everything. No money after potions and antidotes? Don't get hit. Want to "play around with multiple weapons"? Make multiple saves. Building your skills is the name of the game. Most of the weapons are shown in the first shop, so you know what to expect. Pick one, max that, and pick a secondary. As far as the quests and map go, it wasn't complex/big enough to need map markers unless you're trying to speed through the game. Don't play it if you're not enjoying it enough to explore a little.
The plot & game play were slightly uninteresting, and I'll admit that "J" could be put on repeat. But to say that it takes you 5+ minutes a screen is just poor planning on the player's part. My only glitch was mystery hits. Who doesn't love a decent Zelda-style game? I give it a very strong ★★★☆☆.
This game doesn't rely on luck. Just take a second to see where the orbs are GOING to be instead of where they ARE immediately headed. Randomly clicking in the middle of a tightening group isn't the answer. Overall, it was pretty easy and not so relaxing. I don't see how it is at all related to "Apocalypse NAO!", but it's certainly a better game than many I've played recently no matter how simple it is. I found myself hoping there weren't going to be many levels of this, and there were just the right amount. I liked the game so ★★★☆☆.
