The graphics are great. I really like the simple color scheme and clean appearance. You also have an original and impressive twist on the original "Breakout" concept. My only complaint is the sluggish control response when using the arrow keys. There is a little delay and too much loose sliding. With a curved bat/paddle, the controls should be a bit tighter. One other note (not a complaint, just a suggestion), try using music that loops instead of having a distinct beginning and end. It gives more of a seamless feel to the game.
fun game but the controlls are bad. mouse kept falling off the screen and i din't know until i would try to release and nothing happened. very frustrating. funny and entertaining though.
i can't believe kong made this a badge. way glitchy and sooooo boring after about five seconds. maybe that's the challenge of it... forcing yourself to sit through it. 1 star.
RE: Indie’s “Blow” response. First, I’m as thankful for you making games as I am thankful that Miller makes Beer. I enjoy the product while acknowledging that it wasn’t made solely for my enjoyment but for profit. So don’t try to make yourself out to be a self righteous dev. in it for the smiling faces and nothing more. Second, I never mentioned FireFox so get your information straight. Lastly, I have respect for devs that consistently produce quality products. This product has obvious issues (as does any game) but is quality (as is gamma bros.). So you had my respect. However, you lost my respect (and probably that of many others) when you started taking the criticism personally and became flippant with your audience. There are some of us that truly wanted to help your game become even better. My previous comment was meant only to remind you of that and hopefully prevent you from alienating that crowd.
Indie, don't get so wrapped up in all the negativity that you forget to give thanks to those actually trying to improve your game. And don't take the criticism so personal, it just encourages the naysayer to continue pushing.
I was a good three inches away from the tree and still wrecked. Also, why is the traffic going the opp. direction? Even when I'm at a complete stop they drive by me going the wrong direction (or am I going the wrong direction?).
Indie, once the super canon is destroyed by the mother ship you should end the double shot upgrade since the tanks already shoot double. It's aggravating to have pointless upgrade after pointless upgrade especially against a boss.
I don't hate man. Just sayin' the game sucks. I come back to see if anybody responds to my comments. Guess they do. It's funny to see how spun up you and your boy Malachi got though. Youz kids keep me laughin.
Because it's your first and you managed a decent game I gave you 3 stars. The music isn't really there and the maps are to small. The image mapping was good, timer was good, and mouse was smooth. God job for your first time out.
