There is something pretty wrong with the arithmetics here... if you are trying to do a math game, don't burn math rules in the process please: multiplications/divisions are done before additions/substractions, and not from left to right. Trying to adjust myself to the internal logic of your game is a pain in the ass...
I thought about this, certainly, and it is mentioned in the help file. The newspaper puzzle that gave me the idea does it the same way I do. Perhaps it would help to think of it as a series of two-operation sums, rather than as a single equation with operator precedence.
I will consider including it as a option in the future.
One downside of using operator precedence would be that divisions would kind of be a giveaway because there are only so many possibilities for division between the limited set of block numbers.
Last levels are wrong... I'm playing with the low damage-quick guy, and it's almost impossible to get 3 stars. And it's not a problem of my ability (I'm doing headshots all the time without stop!!!) or my upgrades (maxed everything but the castle walls). The only way to win 3 stars is to get lucky and the critical ability activates A LOT, which is stupid... you have to be to damm lucky! I don't know if the other characters are the same... but I just feel myself cheated...
the cost skyrocketing when upgrading it seems too much stupid... I mean... seriously... a lvl 8 catapult would be incredible powerful, but needing 480 gold to summon them its like you will never do it!! So I'm realizing its better to have low leveled units ¬¬
I like the general feeling of the game, but there are a few of major downsides:
-Bugs... TOO MANY bugs. There was a battle with two teams of healers against a castle where I spent half an hour waiting for the 3x damage activates, because neither of us could inflict damage to the other because our regenerating abilities... that was lame, and I finished it letting myself to be killed because it was hopless =p. Also in other level the screen frozed after ending turn and my orders were not carried. I was still able to clik in places and open the menu, but anything else, I had to throw away the entire map ¬¬
- You should add a few things: something for letting you see at the missions, allowing you to see at least if you got all the stars!!! and some character stats indicators will be great also.
I don't know if it's a bug or just me misunderstanding some game mechanics. I'm stuck in level 21. The Transcoder Tower is supposed to have an attack power of 4, but it just does 1 damage. Upgrading its attack doesn't change this either (even if its stats goes up in the listing). The same happened to me in some other level before with another "continuous beam tower", but I managed to complete it. Is this a bug? Or the attack power is being calculated in some other way like damage/time and I'm just not realizing it? Great game overall, better than original :3
it should be made so it will turn more difficult over 1000 meters or something... After I get all the medal but the ending one, my next run was about 1400 meters thinking I should reach a "goal" for the ending... and it was terrible boring that last part, I mean the only reason why I ended being killed was because my eyes became fuzzy of all that time focusing on the window... =p.
Anyway, pretty good game overall for a short breaktime :)
There is a problem with the trophies count. I have collected all the battle throphies in one save slot, spending some in buying upgrades, but then, the throphies I have use as money dissapears for the total, and I am not able to get the "Throphy King" an "Throphy God" Throphies (u.u, so much "throphy" word is confusing =P). It needs some fix in some points, but good game anyway ^^
