There are some optimization problems here. I'm running the current version of Chrome and can run Witcher 3 with maximized graphics without a problem... but this game runs at 5 FPS.
Ah very strange. I have gotten different kinds of reports regarding browsers not supporting the graphics so I could try something new there next time around. Thanks for the heads up!
Nice smol game. One thing I'd recommend is changing the second phase of the boss so it's a bit more challenging, given that you can just kinda sit there shooting it and then move 1/4 of the screen right or left and avoid the laser. Maybe it has hangars on either side that spit out more enemy types. I dunno. But once the first phase was done, it was a bit too easy.
This control scheme needs to be changed. WASD or arrow keys to move, or space to hold position or something. trying to wiggle back and forth in the center while simultaneously trying to shoot targets isn't fun. It's annoying. The game isn't worth playing in it's current state. If the dev updates the control scheme, it might be good.
Absolutely terrible, filled with microtransactions. The game runs poorly and the way to get ahead is buying their crystals. This is a poorly made ripoff of Enchanted Cave. Play that.
So Terra0nova, what does the Endurance potion actually do? My guess would be decreasing stamina usage while overencumbered or something. But I don't want to burn dragonblood on it until I know what it does.
It lowers the stamina cost for movement. It doesn't effect the overweight penalty or using tools, but it can add up to a lot of stamina savings over time.
This game very much reminds me of Brogue... like aside from actual graphics they're almost identical. (brogue has more screw yous though... like getting a ranged weapon is so rare it's not even funny)
I haven't gotten very far in Brogue but I loved all the grasses, gasses, chasms and just general environmental stuff that game had. So many of the major rogue-likes have comparatively bland dungeons.
If anyone is having trouble, don't bother investing in base defensive. The key is to go all out on offense and utility to prevent them from ever hitting you, and once you have all the effects, invest heavily in elemental piercing. It makes it so all enemies are affected by all effects.
Trying to get all the cards? Here's a tip. Play Classic mode. Use the Omega Penguin and the Spring Launcher, then go for Propellers and Banshees for propulsion. You should be able to win each game in around 10 days with enough upgrades in the bonus shop.
I... don't see much here. The game is basic and relatively uninteresting due to the simple spot the difference in hue. An increase in the number of subjects to view does not increase difficulty, as this is little more than an eye test with a ludicrously repetitive soundtrack.
There... there isn't much I can give for feedback aide from don't make this kind of "game".
@littlebenlbp it would be... if it was their first time out. The game has poor scaling with the skins and upgrades. I've gone 40 floors and only gotten 1 coin each, most of which had no gems, and a couple started me inside an obstacle, forcing me to lose life.
Playing through to get single upgrades that don't add much to the experience doesn't appeal, and the upgrades themselves aren't creative.
Because even as ok as I am at this kind of stuff, playing through for 20 minutes to get 2 extra seconds on an upgrade I almost never see isn't a good design decision.
i would like multiole modes, because given enough time, i can completely control the creeper. just set up 2 blasters for every spawn point and have everything under SAM, and you win.
JMTB02, I've found a reproducible game breaking bug. I have found that when I click play, the drawScreen function draws 1 frame of the game, the it goes back to the preloader.
i'd like a fighting tutorial or a tip. I can't seem to get the trick of it. I've pressed every button on my keyboard, and I have a crappy laptop so I have a touchpad.
lol it's a ridiculously easy game, provided you have 2 men in each store, with just a solid, 20 square wide barricade. upgrading when lvls get higher. use molotovs to blast away zombies that start to get through. re barricade and wait for more. + if this is a good guide.
lol This game is better on newgrounds. It has 3 more characters and runs faster. Characters: hank (madness combat series) henchman ((madness combat series) weakest enemy in game) and fancy pants man.
The key to the convict final battle is to simply have mastery over every character, so no matter who you are, you can still fight well
Try the (also alpha) downloadable version here: https://playsaurus.com/PokerQuest.html - the browser version is going to run a lot slower.
