"Failure is the most Difficult part of Succes...?" A bit of a typo there, also, it looks like you were trying to implement a wasd control scheme, but only 'D' seemed to work. Other than that, a very well strewn together game with very well done aesthetics and decent music. Very Well Done!

A few major problems with combat:
1. The lack of temporary invincibility after being hit really throws people off with a single enemy dealing hundreds of damage and the fact that the sword only hits enemies outside of the character hit box will make it additionally frustrating when dealing with flying enemies.
2. The environmental hazard's 1hit KO rule is just really annoying on a LOT of levels where creators like to spam those particular blocks.
3. The coin-experience ratio makes it so that you'll have really bad weapons and equipment compared to high-leveled enemies.
Other than that, great work with this so far!
