For some reason, I cannot get the giant moth to appear in my bestiary. I have killed it several times and have maxed out all my stats, but it still will not appear. Anyone else with the same problem?
Pimgd! I am first on the all time chest finding list and STILL have not found the last legendary item. What am I doing wrong? I am looking for the stave if that helps at all.
My guess for the death achievement is that you have to get hit by an attack which brings you to exactly zero HP, then a text screen appears. I got the text screen, but I don't know how or why. If I'm way off, please correct me so I don't waste hours of my life for nothing.
2 things Pimgd:
1.) Can legendary items be obtained from any chest you encounter, or only by ones found not in dungeons?
2.) How do you beat death itself? (Only a hint please, not the answer)
Is there any way to improve my chances of getting the last legendary item I need? Do any chests give out legendary items or is it only when you go out exploring?
What is the percent chance of getting a legendary item from a chest, and is there any way of influencing what you get? I have found so many chests, yet I still lack the legendary staff I need for the last achievement. Thanks.
This game needs the ability to play after you beat The shadow lord Xin. I was hoping to get the best of all equipment, but the game just ends after beating the Evil Lord.
I guess i should offer some constructive criticism in addition to commenting on how awesome this game is:
1.) Make saving more available (saving from a menu rather than having to go into a city.)
2.) Make the frame with skills and the menu disappear or smaller, they constantly get in my way.
3.) Make it more fun to level up past level 23, like levels 1-22
I beat the game. Some things I noticed towards the end of the game:
1.) There are only 3 types of enemies. Some tougher enemies (enemies that die in 2-3 hits) would make the game a lot more interesting. Also, a second miniboss enemy would be good. I'm not sure you can do anything about this last point, but the game gets awfully laggy towards the end. All in all, it is a solid shootorial game.
Yeah, that is true. I am not a game designer, so I don't know how intuitive the game designing program is. You could make it so that hitting a miniboss kills the miniboss, but also kills any time left on your shield powerup. If that is not possible, then you can just leave it as it is.
For clarification, in the first point I meant that if you get a shield powerup while another shield powerup is in effect, the new shield powerup starts, and you have shields for the full "second" powerup, if that make any sense.
Some more suggestions:
1.) Make it so that if you get a shield upgrade, it replaces the old one.
2.) Make each powerup unique. As far as I could tell, the shield, health and Nuke powerups all looked alike.
One of the better Shootorial games I've played. Some slight tweaks would be:
1.) Slightly more frequent health powerups that heal less health (1/4 to 1/3 of total)
2.) Make it so that the shield powerup allows you to kamikaze more, or not at all. I ran into a big ship with a recently acquired shield and still died.
Alas, abundant arbitrary alliteration acrimoniously assaults an average attempt at adventure and absolutely annihilates any aspirations above an assigned award: AWFUL.
